WCBCT 2019

Dear WCBCT2019 Support Group Members

It has been a couple of months since we have been in touch and now it is exactly 10 weeks before the start of WCBCT2019. In 10 weeks we will have 1000 delegates who registered to attend a Pre-congress workshop half way through their day. We will have another 3000+ delegates all heading to the CityCube in Berlin in the afternoon for the opening event and reception. We are nearly there!

Everything is going to plan with the organization but the next 10 weeks are going to be very busy for us. It has also been a very busy couple of months for Thomas and Philip coordinating the scientific programme which is going to have over 1800 people actively participating whether that is delivering an invited address, running a workshop, speaking in a symposia or open paper session or presenting a poster. We will soon be publishing the programme on the website and inviting people to register for the In-congress workshops that are on offer.

Our goal of making WCBCT2019 a global congress is already guaranteed with the registration of our first delegate from Jamaica this week bringing the total number of countries represented up to 80.

We still need you help with a final push to promote the Congress so that we can increase the number of delegates and the space we have rented in the CityCube to accommodate the larger programme. We would be very grateful if you would contact the members of your association and get them to register. Although the early bird registration rate is now closed the Congress is still excellent value for money and when people see the programme it will be one that they will not wish to miss.
